Forward speed can range from 1 kph in very heavy conditions to 10 kph in light use - if the engine struggles, raise the cutting height and slow down immediately. Consider making two passes in very heavy growth, leaving at least 24 hours between cuts. After heavy use, run the machine at half working speed while stationary for at least 4 minutes to cool the drive belts. Failure to follow this guidance may cause serious damage to the clutch and drive belts.
